NOTE: USDA Export Mark: Exporters may apply the FSIS-issued USDA export mark (e.g. hand stamp or computer-generated sticker) or unique identifier (UI) to each outside container within a consignment. The USDA export mark bears the export certificate number and links a consignment to its corresponding export certificate. A UI may be any combination of numbers or letters (e.g. sales order or bill of lading number). The UI must appear in the remarks section of the FSIS Export Certificate of Wholesomeness (FSIS Form 9060-5) with the statement: “The products covered by this certificate are marked with the Unique Identifier X#X#X#X#X#X#X#X#.”
