Award General Terms & Conditions

Recipients and any subrecipients of USDA/FSIS agreements must comply with the applicable FSIS general terms and conditions outlined below.  These terms and conditions are in addition to the assurances and certifications made as part of the award, and any terms, conditions, and restrictions reflected on the official assistance award document. 

The totality of any agreement between the FSIS and the recipient is comprised of several components, including the Award Document, application, project narrative (FSIS Project Description or similar named document that captures the recipient's performance obligations).  The award document contains terms and conditions known as General Provisions for Cooperative Agreements and links to the terms and conditions, which are available below:

These terms and conditions are effective to financial assistance awards/agreements and monetary amendments made on or after December 21, 2023.
