- All egg products from the following states are prohibited for export to or transit to Turkey unless they have been subjected to heat treatments outlined here.

- Fresh and frozen poultry meat and processed poultry products are not eligible for export to Turkey at this time.
Note: Poultry and poultry products may transit via Turkey to third countries. However, poultry and poultry products from the following states are ineligible to transit via Turkey to third countries:- Alaska - For certificates issued on or after October 13, 2022 and prior to May 2, 2023.

Note: All exports transiting through Turkey to a third country destination, ships stores, military, or imports directly into Turkey require a wet signature on all export certification documents and an export stamp in the Remarks section of the FSIS 9060-5 certificate in a color of ink other than black. Electronic digital signatures will not be accepted.
- Certification requirements for canned meat products - Obtain FSIS Form 9060-5, Meat and Poultry Export Certificate of Wholesomeness.
- Turkey now requires the application of an Export Stamp identifying the Certificate Number indicated on the FSIS Form 9060-5 Export Certificate of Wholesomeness. The Export Stamp must be applied in the “Remarks” section of the FSIS 9060-5 certificate in a color of ink other than black.
- Canned meat product(s) - The following two additional documents are required:
- Certificate of Origin, indicating where the food originated; and
- Certificate of Analysis, which includes a Physical Analysis, Chemical Analysis, and Microbiological Analysis. This analysis indicates not only the meat and products in the food but also identifies any additives (with their identification or E numbers) and quantities in the product. The values with regard to the pathogen microorganisms should also be included in the analysis.
- Ships' Stores - Meat and poultry products intended for ships' stores are eligible from any federally inspected facility. Product should be certified with FSIS Form 9060-5. The statement "Product intended for ships' stores" should be typed in the remarks section.
- Military Shipments: Meat and poultry products intended for U.S. military use are considered transit shipments. They are eligible from any federally inspected facility as long as the product is eligible according to the guidance for transit shipments in the “Eligible/Ineligible” products section above. Product should be certified with FSIS Form 9060-5. The statement "Product intended for Military use only" may be typed in the remarks section.
