Cancellation of FSIS Directives
As part of the review of all FSIS directives, the Office of Policy and Program Development has identified the following obsolete directives for cancellation, and they will be removed from the FSIS Webpage:
FSIS Directive 1510.1, Equal Opportunity Notification on Material for the Public. This directive is superseded by Department Regulation (DR) 4300-003, Equal Opportunity Public Notification.
FSIS Directive 1520.1, Civil Rights Compliance and Enforcement. This directive is superseded by DR 4330-002,Nondiscrimination in Programs and Activities Receiving Federal Financial Assistance from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).
FSIS Directive 3200.1, Administrative Control System for Appropriations and Funds. The instructions in this directive are obsolete and refer to programs no longer supported by FSIS.
FSIS Directive 3200.2, Responsibilities for Operation Under the Administrative Fund Control System. The instructions in this directive are obsolete and refer to programs no longer supported by FSIS.
FSIS Directive 3230.1, Availability and Control of Appropriations and Funds. The instructions in this directive are obsolete and refer to programs no longer supported by FSIS.
FSIS Directive 3500.2, Accounting for Funds and Property Charged to Separating Employees. This directive is superseded by FSIS Directive 2410.1, FSIS Employee Separation or Transfer Clearance.
FSIS Directive 3410.2, Post Office Rental Boxes. This directive is obsolete because FSIS no longer rents Post Office boxes.
FSIS Directive 4550.4, Premium Pay Under Title 5. The instructions in this directive are superseded by the guidance on the USDA’s Compensation and Leave webpage.
FSIS Directive 4551.1, Provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). The instructions in this directive are superseded by the guidance on the USDA’s Compensation and Leave webpage.
FSIS Directive 9040.3, Use of Compensatory Time and Paid Overtime. The instructions in this directive are superseded by the guidance on the USDA’s Compensation and Leave webpage.
