FSIS Notice 49-24
  1. PURPOSE
    This notice announces mandatory FSIS Review of Ready-to-Eat Inspection Fundamentals training for all Consumer Safety Inspectors (CSIs).
  2. TRAINING AVAILABILITY AND COMPLETION
    1. All CSIs will be pre-enrolled in the mandatory training. The training will appear under the “My Mandatory Training” section of their AgLearn dashboard on Friday, December 20, 2024. If the course is not available on the AgLearn dashboard, contact FSISAgLearn@usda.gov. To locate the training, CSIs are to:
      1. Login to AgLearn;
      2. From the homepage, select "Learn" from the top navigation section and expand the drop-down menu;
      3. Then select the "Find Learning" link;
      4. After being taken to the course catalog page, search by course title; and
      5. Select course and click on the “enroll” button.
      NOTE: If CSIs do not see the "Enroll" button when selecting the “Courses” link, locate the "Enrollment options" link under the Administration block on the left-hand side.
    2. All CSIs are to complete the training by Wednesday, February 19, 2025.
    3. The training will take approximately two hours to complete.
    4. CSIs are to earn a score of at least 70% on the ten multiple-choice test questions to receive credit for completing the course. The course completion date will be automatically notated in AgLearn for those who successfully pass the test.
    5. For the best user experience, CSIs are to pay close attention to the Getting Started portion of the course for instructions to ensure their computer display settings are adjusted appropriately.
