Information to Prepare and Give Public Comment
The Joint Public Meeting on the Use of Cell Culture Technology to Develop Products Derived from Livestock and Poultry will provide interested stakeholders an opportunity to share their thoughts on the potential hazards, oversight considerations, and labeling of cell cultured food products derived from livestock and poultry.
To facilitate public comments during the meeting, the FDA and USDA have posted a number of discussion questions in the agenda, and facilitators will walk through each of these questions during the open public comment periods to solicit public comment. Attendees should come prepared to share their views, experiences, and comments. Your feedback on these questions will help inform the agencies’ actions going forward.
