Note: Exporters are strongly advised to work closely with Albanian importers to ensure product entry into Albania.

1. Poultry and poultry products derived from birds raised or processed in Washington County, Arkansas on or after August 28, 2008, are eligible for export to Albania. Poultry and poultry products derived from birds raised or processed in Washington County, Arkansas before August 28, 2008, are not eligible for export to Albania

All export applications for meat and poultry exports must be entered and processed through PHIS beginning Monday, March 6, 2023. 

1. PHIS will generate FSIS Form 9060-5—Export Certificate of Wholesomeness. *

All FSIS export certificates accompanying the product must be electronically signed by a FSIS veterinarian. PHIS will automatically add the veterinary degree (DVM) to the printed name of the approving FSIS veterinarian in the signature box of the export certificate. *

All federally inspected meat and poultry establishments are eligible to export to Albania.
