The guidance provides information to foreign countries regarding submissions of official government chemical residue sampling plans and results as part of the FSIS international equivalence process. It applies to foreign countries currently eligible or seeking eligibility to export meat, poultry, or egg products to the United States and actions they may take to submit required information to FSIS. It relates to equivalence requirements in 9 CFR 327.2, 381.196, 557.2, and 590.910.
