The guidance lists and describes reasons why submitted labels for use on regulated meat or poultry products were modified or returned after evaluation by FSIS staff. It applies to labeling applicants and the actions they may take to meet various labeling standards. It relates to 9 CFR 381.400-500, Part 317 and 412.
