This guidance provides information about the mandatory features on meat, poultry, and egg product labels. It applies to official establishments and retailers. It relates to 9 CFR Part 317, 381 Subpart N, and 590.410 through 415.

- Net Weight Statement -
- mandatory for retail sale products. Random weight retail products can have statement on application "net weight applied prior to retail sale" instead of net weight statement.
