This guidance document demonstrates the benefits for firms to use LSAS. Benefits include Wizard to assist firms with determining which labels can be submitted through the Generic Label submission process will reduce submission errors and questions to LPDS staff about generic approval; application processing will be faster than paper submission; cost and time savings versus surface mail; and quick and ready online access to application status. Label review is required by statute at 21 USC 456(c), 607(d), and 1036(b).
