The guidance provides information about proposed changes to FSIS imported products inspection regulations that will facilitate implementation of the Public Health Information System, a new data analytic system, including changes regarding application and presentation for FSIS reinspection of imported products. It applies to official import inspection establishment and importers and the actions they may take to meet regulatory requirements when bringing regulated products into the United States. It relates to 9 CFR 327.2, 327.4(a) and (b), 327.5, 381.196-198, 590.910, 590.915, and 590.920.
