This guidance provides links to peer reviewed articles of antimicrobials approved by the FDA and FSIS as safe and suitable ingredients in meat and poultry. It applies to official meat and poultry establishments who can use these articles to reduce microbial pathogens in their products. It relates to 9 CFR 417.
