On July 19, Administrator Paul Kiecker spoke to scientists and food safety professionals at the 2022 National Turkey Federation Leadership Conference. Kiecker spoke about the risks of Salmonella in poultry and the steps FSIS is taking to reduce Salmonella illness attributable to poultry products.

The Office of Field Operations (OFO) Atlanta District Enforcement, Investigations and Analysis Officer (EIAO) meeting was held June 28 - 29.
