WASHINGTON, April 24, 2015 – Hong Ha, a Hyattsville, Md. establishment, is recalling approximately 10,164 pounds of beef and pork products due to misbranding and undeclared allergens, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today. The products contain wheat flour, eggs, and milk, known allergens which are not declared on the product label.
The beef and pork items were produced on various dates between December 1, 2014 and April 23, 2015. The following products are subject to recall: [View Labels]
The products subject to recall bear the establishment number “EST. 4261” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to restaurants and retail locations in Maryland and Virginia.
The problem was discovered during a routine label review by FSIS personnel.
FSIS and the company have received no reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about an injury or illness should contact a healthcare provider.
FSIS routinely conducts recall effectiveness checks to verify recalling firms notify their customers of the recall and that steps are taken to make certain that the product is no longer available to consumers.
