Compliance Guide For Residue Prevention

The guidance provides information about measures that can be applied to reduce or prevent the occurrence of violative residues during livestock slaughter, including those related to producer histories, animal identification and supply chain information, and notification of post-purchase positive residue tests.  It applies to official establishments that slaughter livestock and actions they make take to prevent violative chemical residues in their products. It relates to 9 CFR Part 417.
