Export Requirements for Nicaragua

        1. Cullman County between  March 21, 2017 and July 18, 2017 are ineligible for export.
        2. Jackson County between March 15, 2017 and June 14, 2017 are ineligible for export.
        3. Lauderdale County between March 10, 2017 and June 20, 2017 are ineligible for export.
        4. Madison County between March 10, 2017 and June 19, 2017 are ineligible for export.
        5. Pickens County between March 16, 2017 and July 12, 2017 are ineligible for export.
      2. California - Fresh/Frozen poultry and poultry products derived from birds slaughtered, processed, or stored in:
        1. The State of California from September 8, 2018 are ineligible for export.*
      3. Georgia - Fresh/Frozen poultry and poultry products derived from birds slaughtered, processed, or stored in:
        1. Chattooga County between March 25, 2017 and July 20, 2017 are ineligible for export.
      4. Idaho
        1. Payette County between April 11, 2017 and July 13, 2017 are ineligible for export.
      5. Kentucky - Fresh/Frozen poultry and poultry products derived from birds slaughtered, processed, or stored in:
        1. Christian County on or after March 17, 2017 and on or before August 24, 2017 are ineligible for export.

          1. between May 1, 2016 and August 10, 2016 are ineligible for export.

        2. Webster County in the State of Missouri on or after February 22, 2018 are ineligible for export
      8. Tennessee
        1. Giles County in the State of Tennessee on or after March 8, 2017 and before July 2, 2017 are ineligible for export.
        2. Lincoln County in the State of Tennessee on or after March 4, 2017 and on or before August 11, 2017 are ineligible for export.
      9. Texas
        1. Hopkins County between February 9, 2018 and June 21, 2018 are ineligible for export.
      10. Wisconsin
        1. Barron County in the State of Wisconsin on or after March 4, 2017 and on or before August 24, 2017, are ineligible for export.

Documentation Requirements

  1. Poultry and poultry products must be accompanied by FSIS Form 9060-5, Meat and Poultry Export Certificate of Wholesomeness. The city and state location of the establishment that produced the poultry or poultry product and the following certification statement must be included in the Remarks section or as an FSIS letterhead certificate:

    "The meat is derived from birds which have been kept at a farm since they were hatched or for the past 21 days and in which there has been no evidence of notifiable avian influenza (NAI) in the past 21 days."
  2. Beef and beef products. Obtain FSIS Form 9060-5, Export Certificate of Wholesomeness and an FSIS letterhead certificate:
    1. The United States complies with the conditions in the Terrestrial Animal Health Code of the OIE as a country that presents a Negligible Risk for bovine spongiform encephalopathy.
      Estados Unidos cumple con las condiciones del Código de Salud de Animales Terrestres de la OIE como un país que presenta un Riesgo Negligible para la encefalopatía espongiforme bovina.
  3. Pork and pork products must be accompanied by FSIS Form 9060-5, Meat and Poultry Export Certificate of Wholesomeness.

Plants Eligible to Export

All Federally inspection establishments are eligible to export.
