Export Requirements for Haiti

Eligible/Ineligible Products

  1. Eligible Product
    1. Federally inspected red meat and red meat products.
    2. Federally inspected poultry and poultry products.
    3. Lard, pork ears, tails and hind feet.


Labeling Requirements

  1. Pork hind feet must be labeled "FOR EXPORT TO HAITI ONLY".


Documentation Requirements

  1. Certification requirements: Meat and Poultry Products.
    1. Obtain FSIS Form 9060-5 - Export Certificate of Wholesomeness.

 

Note to exporter: Haiti requires importers to obtain a valid permit prior to import.  Exporters should work with importers in Haiti to ensure a valid import permit has been obtained to import into Haiti. *


Plants Eligible to Export

All federally inspected meat and poultry plants are eligible to export to Haiti.
