Export Requirements for Curacao

Note: Curacao is an autonomous country within the Kingdom of the Netherlands, setting its own import requirements.

Eligible/Ineligible Products

  1. Eligible Products
    1. Meat and meat products
    2. Fresh/frozen and cooked poultry and poultry products (except as in ineligible section below)
  2. Ineligible Products
    1. Fresh/Frozen poultry and poultry products derived for birds originating from, slaughtered, processed or stored, or shipped from: 
      1. Alabama
        1. Cullman County on or after March 21, 2017 and on or before July 18, 2017;
        2. Jackson County on or after March 15, 2017 and on or before June 14, 2017;
        3. Lauderdale County on or after March 10, 2017 and on or before June 20, 2017;
        4. Madison County on or after March 10, 2017 and on or before June 19, 2017; and
        5. Pickens County on or after March 16, 2017 and on or before July 12, 2017 are ineligible for export for export to Curacao.
      2. California
        1. Stanislaus County, California on or after September 8, 2018; and 
        2. Los Angeles County, California on or after September 25, 2018 are ineligible for export to Curacao.
      3. Georgia
        1. Chattooga County on or after March 25, 2017 and on or before July 20, 2017 are ineligible for export to Curacao.
      4. Idaho
        1. Payette County in the State of Idaho
          1. on or after April 11, 2017 and before July 13, 2017 are ineligible for export to Curacao.
      5. Indiana
        1. Dubois County on or after January 15, 2016 and before April 22, 2016
      6. Kentucky
        1. Christian County on or after March 17, 2017 and on or before August 24, 2017 are ineligible to Curacao.
      7. Minnesota:
        1. Kandiyohi County on or after October 20, 2018; and
        2. Stearns County on or before October 31, 2018 are ineligible for export to Curacao.*
      8. Missouri
        1. Jasper County
          1. on or after May 1, 2016 and before August 10, 2016; and
          2. on or after March 3, 2018 and before July 29, 2018 are ineligible for export to Curacao.
      9. Tennessee
        1. Giles County on or after March 8, 2017 and before July 2, 2017; and
        2. Lincoln County on or after March 4, 2017 and before August 11, 2017 are ineligible for export to Curacao.
      10. Texas
        1. Hopkins County on or after March 7, 2018 and on or before June 21, 2018 are ineligible for export to Curacao.
      11. Wisconsin
        1. Barron County
          1. on or after March 4, 2017 and on or before August 24, 2017

Documentation Requirements

  1. All shipments of meat and meat products must be accompanied by FSIS Form 9060-5, Meat and Poultry Export Certificate of Wholesomeness.
  2. All shipments of poultry and poultry products must be accompanied by FSIS Form 9060-5, Meat and Poultry Export Certificate of Wholesomeness, and contain the following certification(s) in the remarks sections:
    "The fresh and frozen poultry meat and poultry meat product were derived from birds that originated from and were slaughtered, processed and stored in, a region/zone (i.e. county) in which no cases of OIE defined high and/or low pathogenic Avian Influenza and/or Newcastle disease have been officially reported by the Veterinary Authority for 90 days before slaughter."

Plants Eligible to Export

All USDA federally inspected plants are eligible to export to Curacao.
