Feds Feed Families: Stuff the Truck
“Stuff the Truck” is planned for August 10, with USDA colleagues across the country. This is a way for USDA employees to collectively donate canned goods safely or make a virtual donation that day. USDA leadership in various capacities will attend event locations. A truck will be stationed at each National Capitol Region event and filled with your donations, then taken to a food bank or pantry. If interested in volunteering at an event or organizing one in your area, send an email to FSISfeedback@usda.gov. FSIS locations around the country are also encouraged to organize their own local “Stuff the Truck” event on August 10 and record their donations. If you or your team stuffs a truck, send a photo and description to email@example.com.
