The guidance resource, askFSIS, is a Web-based computer application, designed to respond to technical and policy-related questions from FSIS inspectors, industry, consumers, other stakeholders, and the public.  It contains a searchable knowledge base of Q&As that allows visitors to seek answers to questions about such diverse topics as exporting, importing, labeling, sampling, FSIS policies, programs, and inspection procedures.  Guidance provided clarifies application of the requirements of the Federal Meat Inspection Act (21 USC 601 et seq.), The Poultry Products Inspection Act (21 USC 451 et seq.), the Egg Products Inspection Act (21 USC 1031 et seq.), and the regulations promulgated thereunder.
