FSIS Responses to the SRT (v2019-001): United States (U.S.) Department of Agriculture Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) Responses to the Self-Reporting Tool (SRT)
The guidance provides information about what detail should be included in a Self-Reporting Tool, the system FSIS uses to obtain information from foreign countries seeking to demonstrate that their documented food safety inspection systems achieve a level of public health protection equivalent to the FSIS inspection system. It applies to foreign countries and actions they may take to seek and maintain eligibility to export meat, poultry, or egg products to the United States. It relates to 9 CFR 327.2, 381.196, 557.2, and 590.910.
NOTE: FSIS is currently revising the FSIS Responses to the SRT (v2019-001) to align with the revised SRT (v2022-001).
