The guidance provides information about FSIS regulations and policy for the validation of post-packaging heat treatments to reduce Listeria monocytogenes on Ready-to-Eat meat products produced by very small meat and poultry establishments. It applies to very small meat and poultry official establishments and actions they may take to meet regulatory requirements. It relates to 9 CFR 430.4.
