USDA Recall Classifications

Class I - High or Medium Risk
This is a health hazard situation where there is a reasonable probability that the use of the product will cause serious, adverse health consequences or death.
Class II - Low Risk
This is a health hazard situation where there is a remote probability of adverse health consequences from the use of the product.
Class III - Marginal Risk
This is a situation where the use of the product will not cause adverse health consequences.

WASHINGTON, 29 de julio de 2016ñ Santanaís Black Label Gourmet Beef Jerky, un establecimiento localizado en Glendale, Ariz, est· retirando del mercado aproximadamente 295 libras de carne seca producido sin el beneficio de inspecciÛn federal y utilizando el sello de inspecciÛn de USDA sin autorizaciÛn, anunciÛ hoy el Servicio de Inocuidad e InspecciÛn de Alimentos del Departamento de Agricultura (U.S. Department of Agricultureís Food Safety and Inspection Service -- FSIS por sus siglas en inglÈs).

Los productos de carne seca fueron producidos el 25 de mayo de 2016, 1 de junio de 2016 y 26 de junio de 2016. Los siguientes productos est·n sujetos a esta retirada (los nombres est·n mencionados en inglÈs): [Etiquetas (formato PDF)]

  • Bolsas pl·sticas de 2.8-oz. que contienen ìSantanaís Black Label Beef Jerky Smokey Robinsonî con fecha de mejor uso ( ìBEST BYî) de 25 de mayo de 2017, 1 de junio de 2017 Û 1 de julio de 2017.
  • Bolsas pl·sticas de 2.8-oz. que contienen ìSantanaís Black Label Beef Jerky Hatcho .357î con fecha de mejor uso ( o ìBEST BYî date de 25 de mayo de 2017, 1 de junio de 2017 o 1 de julio de 2017.
  • Bolsas pl·sticas de 2.8-oz. ìSantanaís Black Label Beef Jerky Super Marioî con fecha de mejor uso o ìBEST BYî date de 25 de mayo de 2017, 1 de junio de 2017 o 1 de julio de 2017.

Este producto esta sujeto a la retirada por llevar un falso n˙mero de establecimiento ìEST. 090115î dentro de la marca de inspecciÛn. La firma aplicÛ la marca de inspecciÛn al producto de carne seca sin la autorizaciÛn correspondiente. Productos que fueron producidos el 26 de junio de 2016 puede que no contengan la marca de inspecciÛn. Estos productos fueron enviados a distribuidores y comerciantes localizados en Arizona.

FSIS fue notificado del problema a travÈs de una fuente tercera.

No se han confirmado o reportado ninguna reacciÛn adversa, enfermedad o lesiÛn a consecuencia de estos productos. Cualquier persona que tenga dudas o preocupaciones relacionadas con alguna reacciÛn provocada por este producto deber· comunicarse con su proveedor de servicios de salud.

Exhortamos a los consumidores que hallan comprador estos productos a no consumirlos. Estos productos deben ser descartados o devueltos al lugar donde fueron comprados.
