Over the last several months FSIS has been working to update and improve our website.  The FSIS web modernization project is designed to improve the customer experience, while providing a much needed facelift. 

What to expect:

• • The content our customers have come to expect will be displayed in a more modern looking website, with easy ways to share information on Facebook, Twitter and through e-mail.
  • FSIS will be able to deliver content that is specifically formatted for mobile devices, including product recall releases, press releases and fact sheets.
  • FSIS website will also allow our customers to sort data tables within the web page.

The modernized website meets and exceeds President Obama's Digital Strategy and Open Data Policy, as well as USDA's overall website communication efforts. FSIS data and content can be more easily shared across USDA, the federal government and by the public and entrepreneurs.
