  • Elsa Smithgall, Curator Phillips Collection, presenting Jacob Lawrence and The Migration Series; a pictorial story of the Great Black Migration of African Americans from the south to the north and other parts of the country.
     
  • Stacy Brook, Blues & Jazz singer extraordinaire. With the migration of Blacks from the south, they brought with them pieces of their southern culture, music and song. Ms. Brooks, who has performed on Broadway portraying Etta James in The Ghost of Etta James, will perform several blues classics.
