USDA’s National Advisory Committee on Meat and Poultry Inspection (NACMPI) will hold a public meeting on January 13 – 14, 2015. The Committee advises the Secretary of Agriculture on matters affecting Federal and State inspection program activities.
The meeting will focus on FSIS’ evaluation and management of chemical hazards within the National Residue Program and evaluation of the FSIS and the Economic Research Service’s (ERS) Cost Calculation Model. The meeting, which is open to the public, will be held on Tuesday, January 13, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET and Wednesday, January 14, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. ET. The meeting will be held in the auditorium of the Patriots Plaza III building, 355 E St., SW; Washington, D.C. 20024.
