Codex Committee on Spices and Culinary Herbs

The Committee on Spices and Culinary Herbs (CCSCH) is responsible for elaborating worldwide standards for spices and culinary herbs in their dried and dehydrated state in whole, ground, and cracked or crushed form and consulting, as necessary, with other international organizations in the standards development process to avoid duplication.
The first Session of CCSCH will meet February 11-14, 2014, in Kochi (Cochin), India. Draft U.S. Positions on issues to be discussed at that meeting are available. (PDF)
