Codex Committee on Spices and Culinary Herbs

The Committee on Spices and Culinary Herbs (CCSCH) is responsible for elaborating worldwide standards for spices and culinary herbs in their dried and dehydrated state in whole, ground, and cracked or crushed form and consulting, as necessary, with other international organizations in the standards development process to avoid duplication.
The Committee held its 1st Session March 17-21, 2014 in Kochi, India, from February 11-14, 2014. The U.S. Delegate’s Report of that Session is available.
The next session of the Codex Committee on Spices and Culinary Herbs will take place in Agra, India from September 14-18, 2015. Upon availability, the agenda and committee documents can be accessed at http://www.codexalimentarius.org/meetings-reports/en.
