Codex Committee on Processed Fruits and Vegetables

The Codex Committee on Processed Fruits and Vegetables (CCPFV) is responsible for elaborating worldwide standards for all types of processed fruits and vegetables including dried products, canned dried peas and beans, and jams and jellies (but not dried prunes or fruit and vegetable juices), as well as revision of standards for quick frozen fruits and vegetables.
The Committee held its 26th Session in Montego Bay, Jamaica, October 15-19, 2012. The U.S. Delegate’s Report of that Session is available.
The next session of the Codex Committee on Processed Fruits and Vegetables will take place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from September 8-12, 2014. Upon availability, the agenda and committee documents can be accessed at http://www.codexalimentarius.org/meetings-reports/en/.
