Committee on Milk and Milk Products (CCMMP): The Codex Secretariat has issued another Circular Letter (CL 2016/12-MMP) issuing a Request for Comments: Analysis of Responses, stemming from the earlier CL 2016/2-MMP on the Proposed Draft Standard for Dairy Permeate Powders. The CL is available in English on the Codex Website at the following link: http://www.fao.org/fao-who-codexalimentarius/circular-letters/en/. If you are interested in having your comments considered in the U.S. response to this circular letter, please send your comments to Ken Lowery in the U.S. Codex Office (email@example.com) by May 16, 2016. Other comments should be sent directly to the Codex Contact Point for New Zealand (CodexNZ@mpi.govt.nz) with a copy to the Codex Secretariat (firstname.lastname@example.org) by May 20, 2016.
Electronic Working Groups
Committee on Food Import and Export Inspection and Certification Systems (CCFICS) invites Members and Observers to join an eWG, led by New Zealand with the United States and Chile supporting as co-chairs, working in English and Spanish, on the possible development of guidance on systems equivalence. Individuals in the United States interested in participating should contact the U.S. Codex Office (USCodex@fsis.usda.gov) by May 16, 2016. Other Codex members and Observers should send their full contact details via their Codex Contact Points to: codexNZ@mpi.govt.nz with a copy to email@example.com before May 19, 2016.
