Status of Document Review:

On November 22, 2005, FSIS sent an initial equivalence package to the country.
On January 5, 2008, FSIS sent an updated version of their initial equivalence package to the Ukraine for response.

FSIS Follow-up to Country:

On March 23, 2012, FSIS sent FSIS sent a letter of intent to the Ukraine asking whether the country wished to pursue their initial equivalence request.
As of May 2012, FSIS has not received a response back from the Ukraine concerning their initial equivalence request for meat; therefore, this file has been officially closed.
