Export Requirements for Hong Kong (Egg Products)

Eligible/Ineligible Products

  1. Eligible Products
    1. Eggs laid in or egg products produced in Kings County, New York on or after February 22, 2013 are eligible for export to Hong Kong.
    2. Eggs laid in or egg products produced in Stanislaus County, California before April 23, 2014.
    3. Eggs laid in or egg products produced in Salem County, New Jersey on or before July 30, 2014, and shipped on or before August 28, 2014.*
  2. Ineligible Products
    1. Eggs laid in or egg products produced in Kings County, New York before February 22, 2013.
    2. Eggs laid in or egg products produced in Stanislaus County, California on or after April 24, 2014.
    3. Eggs laid in or egg products produced in Salem County, New Jersey on or after July 31, 2014, and shipped on or after August 29, 2014.*


Documentation Requirements

All FSIS export certificates accompanying the product must be signed by a FSIS veterinarian. The veterinary degree (DVM or equivalent) must be indicated after the signature.

  1. See required documentation for all countries on the Requirements for Processed Egg Products page.
  2. Obtain FSIS Form PY-200 with no additional certification.
