Export Requirements for Panama

Eligible/Ineligible Products
- Eligible Products
- Meat and meat products. (Note: Effective May 28, 2013, an EV program is no longer required for beef and beef products including canned beef products). *
- Protein-free beef tallow.
- Poultry and poultry products.
- Ineligible Products
- Raw poultry imported from Canada.
Documentation Requirements
- Certification Requirements
- Obtain FSIS form 9060-5 - Export Certificate of Wholesomeness.
- Protein-free beef tallow. The following certification statement must be included in the "Remarks" section of FSIS Form 9060-5 for protein-free tallow.
"The maximum content of insoluble impurities of the tallow does not exceed 0.15 percent of its weight." - Signatures on all required forms and supplementary statements must be by an FSIS veterinarian (name, degree [DVM or equivalent] must be typed or printed after the signature).
Plants Eligible to Export
All federally inspected establishments are eligible to export to Panama. *
