Commissioned Corps Applicants

Qualifications

  • Doctorate degree in Veterinary Medicine, from a school accredited by the Council on Education, AVMA
  • U.S. Citizen
  • Under 44 years of age
  • Physically qualified
  • Must pass a initial suitability/background investigation
  • Must have an active current license

How To Apply

Officers on active duty in the Public Health Service (PHS) Commissioned Corps, and applicants to the PHS Commissioned Corps interested in applying to the Veterinary Medical Officer vacancy announcements, do not apply online.
