CCEXEC acts as the Executive organ of the Commission between sessions
and serves as the standards management body.

Codex committees prepare draft Standards, Codes of Practice, and
Guidelines for adoption by the Codex Alimentarius Commission.

The United States participates fully in Codex activities.
