Mission
The Federal, State and Local Government Relations Staff
(FSLGRS) is committed to strengthening partnerships with Federal, State
and local agencies, and other cooperators, in pursuit of
safer food for consumers. This includes
strengthening traditional cooperative programs
supporting State meat and poultry inspection agencies, and
partnerships with other State and local
agencies, to reduce food safety hazards to which meat and poultry are
exposed in venues outside inspected establishments.
