Frequently Asked Questions
Passwords, ID's, and Logging In
Q42: This is the first time I have ever registered in FSJO and the system is telling me that someone already registered with my SSN. How could this be?
A42: This typically happens when an applicant logs out of FSJO before completely registering. Log in as a registered user, select "Edit Personal Information", press "Next", and then complete the registration process.
Q43: I don't understand why the system won't let me in. I KNOW I put in the right password, and it doesn't work.
A43: Review the procedures for logging into FSJO at the “How to Apply” button. The password is case-sensitive and must be a minimum of 5 characters long. (Upper or lower case letters can be used). An applicant must be a registered user before applying for jobs in the system.
Q44: I tried to login using my e-mail address, and it doesn't work.
A44: Applicants must use the same case as when the e-mail address was originally typed into the system. For example, applicants who originally typed their e-mail address using all capital letters must use all capitals when trying to login. However, it is recommended that applicants use the FSJO-generated ID number received from the system when they first registered because numbers are not case-sensitive.
Q45: I forgot my password!
