The USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service employs over 1,100 Veterinary
Medical Officers (VMO) Nationwide. The locations of the available positions
vary regularly.
In the application process, applicants are asked to
identify any geographic zone in which they are interested and willing
to work. When positions become available, candidates are referred
and considered in the areas that are of interest to them.
Recruitment Bonuses are authorized starting October 1, 2009 through September 30, 2010.
