Status of Document Review:
- On November 30, 2002, December 13, 2007, and November 26, 2008, FSIS sent an initial
equivalence package to the country.
- On May 13, 2011, FSIS sent an updated version of their initial equivalence package to
the Philippines.
FSIS Follow-up to Country:
- On February 21, 2011, the Philippines expressed an interest to FSIS that the country is
still interested in pursuing their initial equivalence request.
- Currently, FSIS is working with the Philippines to complete their initial equivalence
request for meat products.
