Status of Document Review(s):
- On November 13, 2008, FSIS sent an initial equivalence package to the country.
FSIS Follow-up to Country:
- On March 7, 2012, FSIS sent a letter of intent to Ecuador asking whether the country
wished to pursue their initial equivalence request.
- As of May 2012, FSIS has not received a response back from Ecuador concerning their
initial equivalence request for meat and poultry; therefore, this file has been officially closed.
