The next meeting of the Committee is tentatively scheduled for February 16-20, 2009 in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia. The Committee will continue to discuss:

• Consideration of the Level of Linolenic Acid in the Standard for Olive Oils and Olive Pomace Oils
• Recommended International Codex of Practice for the Storage and Transport of Edible Fats and Oils in Bulk (Draft Lists of Acceptable Cargoes)
• Draft Amendment to the Standard for Named Vegetable Oils to include Rice Bran Oil
• Consideration of ISO proposal to amend the nomenclature of oils
• Total carotenoids in unbleached palm oil
