Speaker Biographies
Lisa Wright
Lisa Wright is the Manager of
Regulatory Affairs for nearly 1800
Jack in the Box Restaurants in 16
states. She has worked for Jack in the
Box Inc. for 24 years as a Restaurant
Manager, Training Manager (for
domestic and international operators),
and assumed her current position in
the Quality Assurance Department in
February of 1994. Ms. Wright acts as a
liaison between the corporate Quality
Assurance Department, all Company and
Franchise restaurants, the FDA, and
State and Local Health Departments for
the purpose of ensuring compliance,
facilitating communication, building
partnerships, and addressing
emergencies as needed.
Ms. Wright participates in
professional and educational
conferences for industry and
environmental health associations as a
speaker and member. She is currently a
voting member of the Executive Board
of the Conference for Food Protection.
In 2000, the State of California
Department of Health Services, honored
Ms. Wright with a proclamation when
they awarded the first annual
"Excellence in Food Safety Award" to
Jack in the Box Inc.
Ms. Wright holds a Bachelor of Arts
Degree in Anthropology from the
University of Massachusetts and a
Master of Arts Degree in Anthropology
from Kent State University. Prior to
joining Jack in the Box, Ms. Wright
taught Anthropology at Cleveland State
University in Ohio.
