Speaker Biographies
Amy M. Lando
Amy M. Lando is a Consumer Science
Specialist at the Center for Food
Safety and Applied Nutrition, FDA. She
is the Project Manager for the Food
Safety Survey, a national survey on
food safety behavior and attitudes.
Her duties include analyzing data,
preparing reports, presentations, and
manuscripts. She holds a Master’s in
Public Policy from Georgetown
University with an emphasis on food
and nutrition policy where she
conducted her Master’s research,
"Refrigeration Practices and Food
Safety in U.S. Homes". Amy also has a
Bachelors of Arts in public policy
with a minor in chemistry from Duke
University.
