Julia Y. Smith, MPH
Julia Smith is the Associate
Director for Health Education in CDC’s
Food Safety Office. She coordinates
health education, training, and
communication activities for CDC’s
Food Safety Office. Ms. Smith works
with other federal agencies, industry,
consumer, and professional
organizations to promote food safety
among consumers, industry, and health
professionals.
Ms. Smith received her MPH from the
Rollins School of Public Health at
Emory University and a BS in Biology
from the University of South Carolina.
