Certified Provider of
Continuing Education Units
The Human Resource Development
Staff (HRDS) meets the Criteria for Certification established
by the Certified Provider Commission of the International
Association for Continuing Education and Training, 1101 Connecticut
Ave. NW, Suite 700, Washington DC 20250. In October 1995 the
Human Resource Development Staff was awarded Certified Provider
Status by the International Association for Continuing Education
and Training. This indicates that the processes used by HRDS
meet the highest standards set by the training and development
community. As a result, the Staff is authorized to grant Continuing
Education Units for successful Completion of training activities.
This authorization is not retroactive. Only that training completed
after October 1995 and certified by HRDS qualifies for CEU credit.
Among the programs certified to date include all courses offered
at the FSIS Training Center, training offered through the Microcomputer
Learning Center in Washington, DC, National Correlation Center
courses and all courses offered through the Continuing Education
and Distance Learning Center with the exception of Defensive
Driving. |
