Problem/Reason for Recall: The products may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
How/When Discovered: The recall is in response to an epidemiological study by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS). The preliminary results of the study prompted the firm to voluntarily initiate the recall.
