Production Dates/Identifying Codes: Products produced from November 1 through December 17, 1999, bear dates up to and including ''28 FEB 00'' on the back of the package and the numbers ''P-9678'' or ''EST. 9678'' in the USDA mark of inspection on the label.
Problem/Reason for Recall: Possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination.
How/When Discovered: On December 28, 1999, the firm decided that with the data currently available, and results of additional testing and analysis it conducted, it would be prudent to recall all D'Artgnan products produced from November 1, 1999 through December 17, 1999.
