Product(s) Recalled:  ''CANINO'S BRATWURST'' in 10-pound boxes and 3.9-pound and one-pound packages.
Production Dates/Identifying Codes: Produced on August 15, 2000. The 10-pound boxes bear a code of 0815 and ''SELL BY 08 26 00.'' The 3.9-pound and one-pound packages are identified by ''SELL BY 08 28 00'' printed on the label. Also, ''EST. 1437'' appears in the USDA inspection legends.
Problem/Reason for Recall: Misbranding, contains undeclared monosodium glutamate (MSG)
How/When Discovered: The recall is in response to the discovery, by the Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) inspector at the establishment, that monosodium glutamate (MSG) was added to the product and was not declared in the ingredient statement on the product label.
