The wholesale product is distributed in 10 and 36-pound boxes that are marked with "Est. 785" inside the USDA mark of inspection and the production code "0161." The retail ground beef products are one-pound packages of "Trader Joe's" brand ground beef patties, "Stop & Shop" brand ground round and "Fresh Made" ground beef sold by Shoplink.com. The Stop & Shop and Shoplink.com brands bear manufacturing date codes beginning with 161, and Trader Joe's carries a sell by date of "061900." Each retail package bears "EST. 785" inside the USDA seal of inspection. |
