Production Dates/Identifying Codes: The ground beef products were produced on June 29, 2000, and packaged in one and two-pound packages. The packages are marked with "Est. 10017" inside the USDA mark of inspection and production code "181."
Problem/Reason for Recall: Possible Escherichia coli O157: H7 contamination.
How/When Discovered: An FSIS microbiological sample was collected on June 29, 2000, and reported positive for E. coli O157: H7 on July 04, 2000.
